this week’s friday finds seem to be leaning towards the arts & literature spectrum. the images are filled with pretty art-filled home galleries, books and a few magazine articles that inspired me! all of my very favorite things!

- the fold magazine has a new series, single women and their spaces. i think based on this one on photographer erin little and this one on Caroline Donofrio, you’re going to be very inspired. have a look!
- this is such a really impressive home gallery i think we all can aspire to. featured on mortil mernee, it definitely reminded me i need to add more prints to mine.
- this gorgeous instagram image is also from @mortilmernee — simply a different styling of the same room (a woman after my own heart). and i love it!
- i just discovered the work of this Strasbourg, France-based artist, anne-sophie tschiegg and i just love her colorfully poetic paintings.
- the design blog in/out has a rather fetching feature on the hoxton hotel in paris, one of my very favorite places to stay whilst in the city of lights. i love this wee gallery nook.
- rue magazine recently featured this new textile collection philomela and i became an instant fan. her fabric and wallcoverings remind me of ink blot prints, but in technicolor — just fabulous.
- i love everything about this room. the styling is simple, and yet spot-on perfection. lovely color palette, a wonderful piece of art and sublime mid-century-inspired furnishings.
- this is a perfect example of how books can be used to decorate just as easily as an accessory, and look chic doing it. this barcelona collector likes to surround himself with books that are often found at art exhibitions around the world.
